Since then, Trent has successfully taken numerous cases to juries nationwide, achieving a series of significant verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Biography
Trent's achievements in his burgeoning legal career are remarkable. Few attorneys of his age can boast a comparable record of trial experience. Within just three years of practicing law, Trent has secured over $80 million in verdicts and settlements as the lead counsel. Notably, in 2023, he achieved a $33 million verdict in a burn injury case, where the defendants had initially proposed only minimal settlements. Additionally, he secured a $1.9 million verdict in a complex multi-defendant bus accident case and settled other cases for amounts of $9 million, $5.2 million, and $3.5 million in the same year.
In 2022, Trent's relentless efforts in conducting 30 depositions led to a $9.5 million settlement for an injured oil field worker in West Texas. That year, he also tackled a case against a global corporation for distributing a defective baby product, resulting in tragic consequences. Despite facing numerous motions in federal court, he obtained a significant settlement for a family who lost their 5-month-old daughter due to the faulty product.
These extraordinary results have earned Trent widespread recognition and accolades, including being named on the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list for both 2023 and 2024.
Trent grew up in Hughes Spring, Texas. He studied business at Oral Roberts University. He also played baseball, which taught him some of his life lessons. His time as a college athlete found him competing in two NCAA Division I Arkansas and TCU regional tournaments.
After he obtained his business degree with honors, Trent continued his education at Baylor Law School. As he studied law, Trent participated on Baylor’s national moot court team, was an associate editor for the Baylor Law Review, and was a member of the Order of the Barristers. He also earned top grades in numerous courses, most notably in Texas Administrative Law and Practice Court III, a course in Baylor’s respected Practice Court program. Trent graduated from law school magna cum laude in the top 8% of his class.
Trent joined Arnold & Itkin in 2020 and wasted no time getting to work. One of Trent’s focuses is maritime law, where he helps injured offshore workers recover from preventable accidents.
